New source of data: FFR, Fast Frequency Reserve, Demand DK2
On April 28th, 2025, the source of forecasted FFR demand will be changed to a new forecast model. The new forecast is expected to be more precise in both volumes and looking further ahead, meaning the results for D2-D7 is expected to be closer to D1. However, forecast always comes with some uncertainty.
Mixed resolutions in Transmission Lines

The dataset Transmission Lines contains data in different resolutions.
Due to the implementation of 15-minute Market Time Units (MTU) and updated dataflows, the columns 'Scheduled exchange intraday' (from 2025-03-19 00.00 CET) and 'Physical exchange non-validated' (from 2025-04-09 07.45 CET) contains data in 15-minute resolution. The columns must be used with caution combined with the rest of the data still in 1-hour resolution.
Between 2025-03-19 00.00 CET and 2025-04-24 values are missing sporadically in connection with the transition to 15-minute resolution. The missing data will not be added to the dataset.

All values in the dataset Electricity Balance Non-Validated are in 15-minute resolution since 2025-04-23 12.45 CET instead of hour resolution as required by ENTSO-E. Between 2025-04-07 23.45 CET and 2025-04-23 12.45 CET values are missing sporadically in connection with the transition to 15-minute resolution. The missing data will not be added to the dataset, why data in the period must be used with caution.

The new dataset Imbalance Price is now published on Energi Data Service. The dataflow was available earlier than expected and the new dataset is live containing data from 2025-03-04 13.00.
Note: The data will always reflect the prevailing conditions in the market design. Before March 19th, 2025 the imbalance price equal imbalance price from Pricing Module. From March 19th, 2025 the imbalance price is based on the dominating direction.
