The delivery of the vast majority of system benefits is ensured by various types of reserves. The reserves are purchased through agreements between and a production or consumption-responsible player. The agreements contain provisions to provide capacity for a fixed period. In DK2 types of reserves are FCR-N and FCR-D (Frequency Containment Reserves for Normal operation and disturbances), and mFRR (Manual Frequency Restoration Reserves)
